Hey! Future! Wait for Me!!!

 

As I was at school for a long eight hours today, I thought to my self how many more semesters I will have to endure before I will finally graduated with me Bachelors of Arts with Communication and Publishing. I still have a total of 75 Credits left so in other words.. 6 more semesters.

Oh no. That’s two more years. If I think about it ill only be twenty-two and thats still pretty young. Hmmmm what to do what to do. I wish it was the future now, then I wouldnt have to wait. I have composed four realistic  un-realistic dream jobs just so I can imagine how cool it would be….

1. Super-model…HA I already have problems walking in super high high- heels
2. Start my own fashion line: Well Soph you need money, and to learn how to sew, two majorly important things.
3. An actress/ singer : Well I cant act to save the life of me, and my singing should be reserved for those who know me really really well and have no chance of running away.
4. Editor in Chief of Vogue Magazine: A little more realistic, seeings as though I am doing a publishing degree, but still a dream.

Oh what a life it would be to have ANY of those…

well I dare to dream, I dare to dream :)

In my History Class, my professor is full of the most randomness facts.. today he told us this one….

“Months that begin with a Saturday, Will always have a Friday the 13th”

I wonder if that is true… I love random facts about nothing, just one of those things that make me smile in the day!

Sew and Design!

 

So my mum and I have been talking about sewing, and making clothes for a while now. I have wanted to learn how to sew and design, but have continually put it off because all those other important things keep popping up, or what in other words the need to sit on the couch and stay up to date with Greys, Glee and Say yes to the Dress.

Finally I have made that move, I have a sewing machine now, a sewing box and everything I need, now I just have to learn….

My mom is going to teach me, she is an excellent sewer and really I cant believe I haven’t taken this opportunity yet! So I plan to learn at the beginning, a very good place to start : ) !

 

I love looking at photos like this and dreaming that one day I will be able to do this?

How cool would it be? I think its almost every little girls dream… fingers crossed mine will be come reality! You make what you get right!???

New Years Resolutions……A month late!

 

January has been so busy for me! My cousin left to go back home to England, I started Spring Semester again, I was finding a good balance between school and work, and on top of that there was those New Years Resolutions!

My new years Resolutions usually last three weeks, and then I have either given up or forgot! But now that I have finally organized my self I have set a basic list!

• Get my butt into shape! Hopefully Miss Melissa’s blog post about other fashionista’s fitness methods will help!
• Try the ever growing trend of the 30 for 30!
• Post my dreams and aspirations on my Vision Board
• Organize my closet
• And overall get my organized for the new year!

• Oh! and Of course grow my knowledge in fashion!
